Buckner A. Wallingford, II, President and owner of Econalysts Associated, specializes in corporate finance, financial and investment analysis, portfolio analysis, corporate and securities valuation, commercial banking, and corporate and strategic financial planning.

He has advised domestic and overseas clients on financial management and investment strategies; testified before judicial and legislative bodies; and published articles and monographs on financial matters.

His articles have appeared in The Journal of Finance, The Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science, and The Columbia Journal of World Business, among others.

Prior to joining Econalysts Associated, he was Vice President and Treasurer of Economic Studies, Inc., Manager of Executive Development at Metropolitan Life, Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Management, Rutgers University, where he also served on the tenured faculty of finance. As director of special academic programs at Rutgers GSM, he was the founding director of the Rutgers Executive MBA Program.

Other previous positions include Associate Professor of Finance, Graduate School of Business, Columbia University; Manager of Executive Development, Metropolitan Life Insurance Companies; and Research Fellow, The Federal Reserve Board, Washington, D.C.

He has held visiting professorships at several universities in the United States and countries overseas, including Brazil and Tunisia; has served as special consultant to Bankers Trust Co., Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., General Electric Company, the Kuwait Investment Authority, and the Gulf Investment Corporation, among others; and has earned numerous honors and awards, including Teacher of the Year Award at the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University.

He has been qualified as an expert witness in corporation finance, statistics, banking, real estate, and related subjects and has testified frequently before Federal and State Courts across the country. He has also testified before Regulatory Commissions in New Jersey and Illinois on matters relating to deregulation of telecommunications.

His education includes an undergraduate degree in engineering and applied physics cum laude from Harvard University and graduate studies in the MBA program at the Amos Tuck School, Dartmouth College, where he graduated with Highest Distinction, and the Ph.D. program at the Graduate School of Business, University of Michigan, where he was awarded a Ford Foundation fellowship, among others, and was elected to several academic honorary societies.
